Punta Mita 2009: A Mixture of Work and Fun

Family photo at sunset.

Carter was determined to catch an iguana, so one day he saw this guy hanging around the pools, and started chasing him.  He chased him right into the pool and than the security guard came walking by and helped Carter retrieve him and get some photos.

Some of our brave patients.  They all have numb lips, so not many smiles, but they were great kids.

All the docs, assistants, and a few patients outside Campo Campocina.

Spencer was a great dental assistant...not so great an arm wrestler.
A couple more pictures of Mexico.  Whenever the camera got pulled out Elle would strike a pose.
Okay, so this is Yoland.  What a dream.  She is the maid/cook at the condo from 8-5 everyday but Sunday.  At first it is a little awkward having her pick up after you, do your laundry, clean my kids sandy shoes...and cook the best dang Mexican food around....but by mid-week we were quite accustomed to her.  By the end of the week we were begging her to come home with us, and Lyric, Sandi and I all missed her dearly Monday morning, when we were back home and on our own.  Seriously, her guacamole and salsa is the best.
Aunt Lyric took this picture of Sissy playing in the sand.  She could spend hours and hours in the sand.  Nevermind if it got in her eyes, food, crouch...it's all fun.
Sam with his mom and sister Lyric at the St. Regis beach club.  It was so nice and beautiful...we were expecting to see filming of the Bachelor or something.
Monkey.  She will do anything her brothers do...even climb a palm tree and retrieve a coconut.
